Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona (GCNA) is seeking a Salvage Lead Equipment Operator at the ROC in Phoenix. You will operate baling and forklift equipment, load and unload inventory, and help train other operators while following all safety policies.

Starting pay is $17.50 per hour. The role offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical plans, HRA, dental, vision, 401K, life insurance, EAP, PTO and holidays. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Must possess a Forklift Certification Certificate.
• 3+ years’ experience.
• Ability to be trained, train others, and take direction.
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.

Responsibilities

• Operate baling machine to compress goods into bales.
• Load/unload merchandise and containers safely.
• Perform pre-shift forklift and tipper inspections and safety checks.
• Follow safety policies and wear required PPE.
• Assist leadership in training other Equipment Operators.
