You will work with a multidisciplinary team and mentor staff while building strong client relationships.

The ideal candidate has extensive state tax experience, CPA or equivalent credentials, and a proven ability to lead and advise on tax matters in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience performing tax research and preparing/reviewing state income tax returns for corporate entities.
• Ability to advise on multi-state tax issues and provide technical guidance.
• Proven capability to build and maintain client relationships and mentor staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist multi-state companies with state and local tax issues including compliance, advising, planning, structuring and controversies.
• Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide subject matter and industry knowledge to clients.
• Review information on state income tax returns before, during, and after preparation.
• Support tax controversies including hearings and protests; prepare clients for discussions with auditors.
