Job summary

ACE Recycling & Disposal in Salt Lake County is seeking Rear Load Drivers to join our growing team. You will safely operate rear-load garbage trucks, collect waste and recyclables on assigned routes, and provide exceptional customer service to residents and businesses.

Starting at $24.00 per hour, DOE, with the training and equipment to support safe, on-time pickups. This full-time role requires a Class A or B CDL with airbrake, a clean driving record, and the ability to work a 6:00 a.m. start.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Class A or Class B CDL with airbrake endorsement.
• Must have 6 months minimum of driving commercial vehicle experience.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Must be able to operate a mobile tablet to communicate with supervisor or Dispatch (sending messages, attaching photos, concerns on route interruptions)
• The ability to push, pull, sit, stand, walk, and other physical requirements as necessary to complete daily duties and responsibilities.

• Ace drivers are responsible for operating waste and recycle trucks in a safe manner. Our drivers must conduct all activities according to the delivery and collection schedule and all relevant company policies
• Ability to operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner; ability to communicate effectively; and the ability to read and write to maintain daily records.
