Job summary

ACE Recycling & Disposal in Davis County, Utah is hiring Residential Truck Drivers. Start time is 6:00am, with starting pay at $24.00 per hour DOE, and duties include picking up residential cans and conducting waste and recycling collection safely and on schedule.

Eligible applicants must hold a current Class A or B CDL with airbrake endorsement, have at least 6 months of commercial driving experience, a clean driving record, and the ability to communicate with supervision and Dispatch.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Class A or B CDL with airbrake endorsement.
• Minimum 6 months driving commercial vehicle experience.
• Clean driving record (no DUI).

Responsibilities

• Pick up residential garbage/recycling cans in Davis County.
• Operate waste and recycling collection safely and per schedule.
• Interact with customers professionally and coordinate with Supervisor and Dispatch.
• Follow all company policies; start time is 6:00am.

Job Description

• Due to our tremendous growth, Ace Disposal is looking for Residential truck drivers for the Davis County area. Our drivers are responsible for picking up residential cans.
• All drivers are responsible for waste and recycling collection services in order to ensure that the materials are transported and disposed of in an appropriate manner.
• All drivers must conduct all activities according to the delivery and collection schedule and all relevant company policies and procedures.
• Drivers must also interact with customers and members of the public in a courteous, respectful and professional manner working closely with Supervisor and Dispatch
• Start time on this position is 6:00am in the morning till finish.
• Starting pay at $24.00 DOE.

Required Experience

• Must hold a current Class A or Class B CDL with airbrake endorsement.
• Must have 6 months minimum of driving commercial vehicle experience.
• Must have a clean driving record. (No DUI's)
• Must be able to operate a mobile tablet to communicate with supervisor or Dispatch (sending messages, attaching photos, concerns on route interruptions)
• The ability to push, pull, sit, stand, walk, and other physical requirements as necessary to complete daily duties and responsibilities.
• Ace drivers are responsible for operating waste and recycle trucks in a safe manner. Our drivers must conduct all activities according to the delivery and collection schedule and all relevant company policies
• Ability to operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner; ability to communicate effectively; and the ability to read and write to maintain daily records.
