Job summary

ACE Recycling and Disposal is seeking a Clearfield-area Residential Garbage Truck Driver (CDL required) to operate residential waste and recycling routes. Starts at 6:00am; pay begins at $24.00/hour DOE. CDL with airbrake endorsement and 6 months driving experience are required. Role involves customer interaction and safe operation of trucks.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Class A or Class B CDL with airbrake endorsement.
• Minimum 6 months of driving commercial vehicle experience.
• Clean driving record (No DUI).
• Ability to operate a mobile tablet to communicate with supervisor or Dispatch.
• Physical ability to push, pull, sit, stand, walk as required by daily duties.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate residential garbage and recycling trucks in Davis County.
• Follow delivery and collection schedule and company policies.
• Interact with customers in a courteous, professional manner.
• Ensure materials are transported and disposed of properly and safely.
• Work with Supervisor and Dispatch to manage routes and issues.

Clearfield Residential Garbage Truck Driver (CDL Required)

• Due to our tremendous growth, Ace Disposal is looking forResidential truck drivers for the Davis County area. Our drivers areresponsible for picking up residential cans.
• All drivers are responsible for waste and recycling collectionservices in order to ensure that the materials are transported anddisposed of in an appropriate manner.
• All drivers must conduct all activities according to the deliveryand collection schedule and all relevant company policies and procedures.
• Drivers must also interact with customers and members of thepublic in a courteous, respectful and professional manner workingclosely with Supervisor and Dispatch
• Start time on this position is 6:00am in the morning till finish.
• Starting pay at $24.00 DOE.

Experience and Skills:

• Must hold a current Class A or Class B CDL with airbrake endorsement.
• Must have 6 months minimum of driving commercial vehicle experience.
• Must have a clean driving record. (No DUI's)
• Must be able to operate a mobile tablet to communicate withsupervisor or Dispatch (sending messages, attaching photos, concernson route interruptions)
• The ability to push, pull, sit, stand, walk, and other physicalrequirements as necessary to complete daily duties and responsibilities.
• Ace drivers are responsible for operating waste and recycle trucksin a safe manner. Our drivers must conduct all activities accordingto the delivery and collection schedule and all relevant company policies
