Job summary

Regis is seeking a stylist-in-training for a 90-day temporary position designed to train an unlicensed future stylist in the salon environment, focusing on delivering excellent customer service and learning the business under supervision.

The role includes marketing the business, observing senior stylists, performing duties, promoting services and products, handling phones, stocking shelves, and supporting management. Eligible for promotion to stylist after licensing.

Qualifications

• Must graduate from an accredited cosmetology school and obtain the license within 90 days.
• Ability to work in a dynamic salon environment.
• Good time management and multitasking abilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills with customers, coworkers, and management.
• Computer knowledge including POS systems and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Market and grow the business.
• Observe other stylists/managers at work and ask relevant questions.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Control expenses.
• Promote and sell services and retail products.
• Answer telephones, stock shelves, and sweep hair.
• Complete all other duties as assigned by manager.
