Job summary

Regis Corporate is seeking a stylist-in-training for a 90-day temporary position designed to train an unlicensed individual to join the salon team. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, supporting management, and learning business operations while preparing for a licensed stylist role.

Duties include marketing the business, observing experienced stylists, promoting services and retail, handling phones, stocking, and maintaining salon standards.

Qualifications

• Must graduate from an accredited cosmetology school and obtain the necessary license(s) to perform salon services within or before 90 days of hire-date
• Ability to work in a dynamic salon environment
• Good time management skills, good judgment, and the ability to multi-task
• Well-developed interpersonal skills to communicate in a professional and courteous manner with customers, co-workers, and management
• Computer knowledge including but not limited to point-of-sale systems and data entry
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends

Responsibilities

• Market and grow the business by promoting and selling services and products
• Observe and learn from stylists and managers, asking relevant questions
• Provide exceptional customer service and greet clients by name
• Handle POS transactions correctly and apply discounts per policy
• Complete tasks related to salon operations and comply with company rules
