Qualifications

• Cosmetology license and/or cosmetology management license required by state law.
• 2-3+ years of relevant, fast-paced salon management experience.
• Knowledge of state board of cosmetology regulations and hiring requirements.
• Developing financial management: driving top-line sales, interpreting reporting data, managing payroll budgets, and controlling expenses.
• Developing leadership: motivating top talent, adapting to change, and fostering collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Perform salon hair services, makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations with guests.
• Achieve individual productivity goals each week.
• Promote accountability to meet store goals related to service and merchandise sales, guest loyalty, payroll, omni-channel, and retail shrink.
• Drive profitability through operational excellence, top-line sales growth and expense control.
• Schedule service associates to optimize traffic patterns and support productivity.
• Review financial and operational reporting regularly and react to results promptly.
• Maintain attendance and ensure adherence to Ulta Beauty attendance policy.
• Support experiences manager and general manager in staffing and service events.
