Job summary

Petsense is seeking a Salon Leader to manage daily grooming operations, lead a team of groomers, and deliver exceptional customer service to pet parents and their pets. You will oversee scheduling, training, and performance, while driving growth through outreach and events.

The role requires 2+ years grooming experience and preferred supervisory background, with ownership of grooming tools or willingness to purchase. High school diploma required.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2+ years grooming pets under supervision of a professional groomer; supervisory experience preferred.
• Must provide own grooming tools (clippers, blades, shears) or be willing to purchase required tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the Groom Shop, including scheduling, safety checklists, and salon audits.
• Ensure grooming SOPs and salon cleanliness are maintained at all times.
• Assist in hiring and onboarding new Groomers and Groom Technicians, including training oversight.
• Communicate daily/weekly performance to Salon Manager and schedule weekly staffing meetings.
• Drive salon growth through customer outreach, appointments, events, and community engagements.
• Provide professional grooming services and ensure safety and sanitization protocols.
