Sun Tan City in Greeneville, TN is seeking an Assistant Salon Director to uphold a high-energy, client-centric service environment and drive store performance. You will supervise tanning consultants, lead by example, and ensure operational excellence while meeting productivity goals, with opportunities for advancement.

This role requires flexibility for evenings and weekends and a focus on coaching, training, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Qualifications

• College education preferred, but not required.
• Management and/or Sales experience required.
• Basic computer skills with Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to manage in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple situations.
• Knowledge of client service techniques and operational practices.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities; team-building skills.
• Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage daily salon operations in a fast-paced setting.
• Lead by example to create a client-centric experience and meet sales goals.
• Maintain a professional and clean salon environment.
• Set clear goals for team members and provide coaching and feedback.
• Generate reports, manage inventory, and assist with director duties.
• Support Salon Director in driving top-line revenue and controlling costs.
• Maintain staffing levels for productivity and service quality while managing labor costs.
• Work five days per week, including nights and weekends as required.
• Have reliable transportation to perform banking or related tasks.
