Sun Tan City in Tennessee is seeking an Assistant Salon Director to lead a high-energy, client-centric team in a fast-paced retail environment. You will supervise tanning consultants, drive store performance, and model exceptional service while upholding operational standards.

The role emphasizes coaching, scheduling, inventory oversight, and partnership with the Salon Director to maximize revenue and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• College education preferred, but not required.
• Management and/or Sales experience preferred, but not required.
• Basic Computer skills (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Ability to manage effectively in a fast-paced environment and coach others.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage daily operations of the salon in a fast-paced environment.
• Lead by example in client-centric experience and meeting personal sales expectations.
• Maintain a professional and impeccably clean salon environment.
• Establishes clear goals and objectives for Team Members.
• Provides coaching, training, and feedback to improve Team Members’ daily performance.
• Generate sales reports, maintain inventory, and assist with other Salon Director functions.
• Assist the Salon Director in controlling top line revenue and expenses.
• Maintain staffing levels to ensure maximum productivity and excellent customer service while also controlling labor cost.
• Ability to work nights as well as Saturdays and Sundays as required to provide management coverage.
• Has reliable ability and transportation to go to the bank as needed.
• Candidate should expect to work five days per week, and approximately a 40-to-45-hour work schedule depending on hourly or salary status.
