Job summary

This role requires a current cosmetology or barber license and, where applicable, a state manager's license. You will hire, train, and coach employees, manage inventory, and partner with trainers to grow the business.

Qualifications

• Cosmetology or barber license required; manager's license may be required per state laws.
• Proven ability to coach, lead and inspire a diverse team.
• Solid business skills including scheduling, cash handling, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Interviewing and hiring staff
• Evaluate employee performance through regular 1:1s
• Set individual and salon goals and track progress
• Document important conversations, incidents and goals
• Approve time off and manage staffing during shortages
• Conduct salon meetings
• Collaborate with Technical Trainer on opportunities
• Take inventory and place orders
• Develop a talent bench for career advancement within the area
