As Salon Manager you will interview and hire staff, evaluate performance, set goals for individuals and the salon, document conversations and incidents, approve time off, conduct meetings, work with the Technical

Qualifications

Strong 360 Service Experience and the ability to coach, lead and inspire others.
Business management skills including goal setting, scheduling, cash handling and reporting.
Lead by example with outstanding communication and professional presence.
Flexible availability and a professional appearance.
Current Cosmetology or Barber license and state-manager license where required.

Responsibilities

Interviewing and hiring staff
Evaluate employee performance through effective 1:1s
Set goals for individuals and the salon
Document important conversations, incidents and goals
Approve time off (If short staffed, please communicate with your Area Manager)
Conduct salon meetings
Work with Technical Trainer on salon specific opportunities
Take inventory and place orders
Create and develop a talent bench within your salon as an assist for career advancement within your area.
