Sun Tan City in Murfreesboro, TN seeks an Assistant Salon Director to drive store performance and deliver exceptional client experiences. You will supervise tanning consultants, coach staff, and lead by example to maintain high energy and productivity.

The role requires management or sales experience, strong leadership, and the ability to work a 40–45 hour week, including nights/weekends. Competitive benefits are offered to full-time employees.

Qualifications

• College education preferred, but not required.
• Management or Sales experience preferred, but not required.
• Basic computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Able to manage in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple situations.
• Knowledge of client service techniques and operational practices.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring abilities.
• Team-building and delegation skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage daily salon operations in a fast-paced environment.
• Lead by example to create a client-centric experience and meet sales expectations.
• Maintain a clean, professional salon environment.
• Set goals and objectives for team members.
• Provide coaching, training, and feedback to improve performance.
• Generate sales reports, manage inventory, and assist with Salon Director functions.
• Assist the Salon Director in controlling revenue and expenses.
• Maintain staffing levels to ensure productivity and excellent customer service.
• Work nights and weekends as needed for coverage.
• Possess reliable transportation to banking or related tasks.
• Work five days per week with an approximate 40–45 hour schedule.
