Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Some exposure to salon, cosmetics, hospitality, or retail business preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred but not required.
• Must work a minimum of one 3-hour shift per pay cycle to maintain active employment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival and provide a welcoming experience.
• Check in guests, give salon tour, and offer add-on services.
• Escort guests to waiting area and provide refreshments as needed.
• Make confirmation calls and upsell add-ons during calls.
• Process payments, ring up services, and schedule future appointments.
• Answer calls and schedule appointments with the right artist or therapist.
• Capture guest data accurately and maintain privacy.
• Learn salon artists and services to schedule appropriately.
• Reschedule appointments and block artist time as needed.
• Handle outbound calls for follow-ups or events.
• Stock and tidy retail shelves and ensure restrooms are stocked.
• Maintain clean public areas of the salon.
