Job summary

Sun Tan City is seeking motivated leaders for its Salon Director in Training role. The position focuses on driving store performance, delivering exceptional client service, and supervising tanning consultants to achieve company goals.

Qualifications

• Management and/or Sales experience required.
• Beauty Industry and/or Customer Service experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to manage effectively in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple situations.
• Knowledge of client service techniques and operational practices.
• Strong leadership, coaching and mentoring abilities.
• Team-building and delegation skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage daily salon operations in a fast-paced setting.
• Lead by example to create a client-centric experience and meet sales goals.
• Maintain a professional, clean salon environment.
• Set clear goals and coach Team Members to improve performance.
• Generate sales reports, manage inventory, and assist with Salon Director duties.
• Help control top-line revenue and expenses while maintaining labor costs.
• Ensure proper staffing for productivity and high-quality service.
• Work nights and weekends; typical 35–45 hour workweek depending on status.
