Sun Tan City in Kingsport, TN seeks a Salon Director in Training to drive store performance, supervise tanning consultants, and uphold operational excellence. You will lead by example to deliver exceptional client experiences and meet productivity goals.

The role emphasizes coaching, sales leadership, and maintaining a clean, professional salon environment with a focus on customer satisfaction. Flexible schedule and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Management and/or sales experience required.
• Beauty industry and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to manage effectively in a fast-paced environment and lead by example.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage daily operations of the salon in a fast-paced environment.
• Lead by example in creating a client-centric experience and meeting personal sales expectations.
• Maintain a professional and impeccably clean salon environment.
• Establish clear goals and objectives for team members.
• Provide coaching, training, and feedback to improve daily performance.
• Generate sales reports, maintain inventory, and assist with salon director functions.
• Assist in controlling top-line revenue and expenses.
• Maintain proper staffing levels to maximize productivity and customer service while controlling labor costs.
• Work nights and weekends.
• Work a 5-day week with 35–45 hours per week depending on status.
