Salon Coordinator - Part Time - Independence

Position Overview: The Salon Retail Coordinator manages the front desk operations, reporting to the Salon Manager. This is a nonexempt role focused on delivering excellent customer service and supporting sales activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Client Sales and Service: Recommend retail products, upsell, promote services, handle customer issues professionally, and promote the business outside the salon.
  2. Telephone/Reception: Greet clients promptly, answer calls courteously, manage appointments, process transactions, and encourage pre-bookings.
  3. Salon and Personal Presentation: Maintain a clean, organized reception area, comply with regulations, and uphold professional appearance and attendance standards.
Qualifications:
  • GED or High School diploma
  • Proficiency in computer software
  • Experience in customer service or the cosmetics industry preferred
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for up to 8 hours
  • Lift up to 25 pounds
  • Use of standard business equipment and chemicals
