The Post Oak Hotel is seeking a Salon Coordinator/ Nail Technology to join the only double Forbes Five-Star Hotel in Texas. We hire passionate and professional colleagues who genuinely delight our guests through curated and authentic experiences. The Salon Coordinator / Nail Technician will be responsible for providing exceptional nail services to guests and provide product knowledge and service recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Provide nail care services such as manicures and pedicure treatments
• Daily set up, stocking, cleaning of workspaces, and dispensary
• Greet guests and welcome them in a friendly manner
• Communicate relevant information. Superior communication skills and professionalism.
• Handle opening and closing procedures
• Maintain a safe, sanitary and professional work area
• Promote all treatments and products offered in the Spa & Salon
• Handle guest comments and concerns in a timely and appropriate manner

Qualifications

• 2 years of professional nail tech experience
• Valid State cosmetic license
• Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language
• Previous hotel experience, luxury or Forbes experience preferred
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays is required
• Physical demands: Standing, walking, squatting, kneeling and half kneeling for cleaning. Lifting and carrying towels, carrying gallon container of product, and overhead reaching.
