New Leaf Salon and Spa LLC in Northborough, MA is seeking a friendly Salon Assistant and Front Desk team member to welcome guests and support daily operations.

You will greet clients, manage appointments, handle POS transactions, assist stylists, restock retail and answer service questions with a professional, client-first approach. Qualifications

• Cosmetology license required.
• Prior customer service or receptionist experience preferred.
• Strong communication and client-first attitude required.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced salon environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in clients, creating a warm, welcoming first impression.
• Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and cancellations via phone and booking software.
• Handle point-of-sale transactions, including retail product sales and service payments.
• Assist stylists with on-floor duties: shampooing, color prep, laundry, and sanitation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk, waiting area, and salon floor.
• Answer client inquiries about services, pricing, and products professionally.
• Restock retail shelves and assist with inventory management.
