Sun Tan City in Ashland, KY, is seeking an Assistant Salon Director to foster a high-energy, client-centric environment and drive store performance. You will supervise Tanning Consultants, coach staff, and uphold operational excellence to meet productivity goals.

The role requires strong leadership, sales experience, and the ability to manage in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a professional salon. Evening and weekend shifts are required.

Qualifications

• This role requires strong leadership and ability to coach and mentor staff.
• Experience in a fast-paced retail or service environment is preferred.
• Basic computer skills including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage daily salon operations in a fast-paced setting.
• Lead by example to create a client-centric experience and meet sales expectations.
• Maintain a clean, professional salon environment.
• Set clear goals for team members and provide coaching.
• Generate sales reports and assist with other director functions.
• Control payroll costs while maintaining excellent customer service.
• Support Salon Director in revenue and expense management.
• Ensure adequate staffing for productivity and service levels.
• Work nights and weekends as required for coverage.
• Travel to the bank as needed and manage weekly schedules.
