Sun Tan City is seeking a motivated Assistant Salon Director to lead a high-energy team in Louisville, KY. The role drives store performance, coaches Tanning Consultants, and maintains operational excellence to meet productivity goals.

You will supervise staff, foster superior client service, and uphold a positive atmosphere. This full-time management position requires flexibility for evening and weekend shifts and a focus on leadership development and sales results.

Qualifications

• College education preferred but not required.
• Management and/or Sales experience preferred but not required.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Ability to manage effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of client service techniques and operational practices.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Team-building and delegation skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily salon operations in a fast-paced environment.
• Lead by example to create a client-centric experience and meet sales expectations.
• Maintain a professional and impeccably clean salon environment.
• Establish clear goals and objectives for Team Members.
• Provide coaching, training, and feedback to improve daily performance.
• Generate sales reports, maintain inventory, and assist with Salon Director functions.
• Assist the Salon Director in controlling top-line revenue and expenses.
• Maintain staffing levels for maximum productivity and customer service.
• Work nights, Saturdays and Sundays as required for coverage.
• Ensure reliable transportation to the bank as needed.
• Candidates work five days per week, ~40–45 hours depending on status.
