Hacienda Home Centers, Inc. is seeking a Salesperson to greet customers, understand needs, and guide them to the best merchandise options. You will demonstrate products, maintain organized sales floors, and help with returns and exchanges.

The role focuses on exceptional customer service, product expertise, and effective communication to drive sales. This full-time position offers benefits and a collaborative team environment at our store.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and active listening are essential.
• Strong verbal communication and rapport-building are required.
• Able to demonstrate merchandise and translate features into benefits.
• Deep knowledge of store merchandise and categories.
• Ability to anticipate customer needs and suggest items.
• Capable of recommending merchandise to match customer preferences.
• Learn and operate the store POS system quickly.

Responsibilities

• Greets and interacts with customers.
• Consults with customers to understand needs related to merchandise.
• Demonstrates merchandise and suggests suitable options.
• Keeps sales areas neat, labeled, and properly tagged.
• Retrieves merchandise from floor or stockroom and processes special orders.
• Maintains orderly back stock and rotates end caps.
• Handles returns and exchanges.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

A day in the life…

• Greets and interacts with customers.
• Consults with customers to understand their needs and preferences related to merchandise.
• Demonstrates and explains merchandise, selecting and suggesting options suitable for the customer’s needs.
• Ensures sales areas are kept neat, clean, dusted, and in the correct place.
• Ensures merchandise has proper tags and labeling.
• Retrieves merchandise from sales floor, stock room, or other inventory locations, and places special orders.
• Ensures back stock is kept neat and orderly, checked, and stocked daily.
• Maintains end caps and rotates end cap merchandise regularly.
• Processes returns and exchanges.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
