Job summary

Siri InfoSolutions Inc. is seeking a Salesforce Tester for a 12-month remote assignment.

The tester will perform comprehensive functional testing across Salesforce features, integrations, and data migrations to ensure business and technical requirements are met. The role involves working closely with Salesforce developers, analysts, MuleSoft teams, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality Salesforce functionality with rigorous test documentation and defect management.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance or manual testing.
• Hands-on experience testing Salesforce applications and business functionality.
• Strong experience writing and executing manual test scripts.
• Understanding of Salesforce objects, relationships, fields, record types, validation rules, flows, workflows, reports, dashboards, and security concepts.
• Experience performing functional, regression, system, and end-to-end testing.
• Experience with defect management and test management tools.
• Ability to interpret requirements and develop comprehensive, risk-based test coverage.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review business requirements, user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
• Create detailed test strategies, test scenarios, test cases, and manual test scripts.
• Execute functional, system, end-to-end, regression, smoke, and negative testing for Salesforce functionality.
• Test Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, workflows, flows, approvals, reports, dashboards, and user access.
• Validate business processes and user journeys across Salesforce.
• Prepare and manage test data required for functional testing.
• Execute test scripts and document test results, evidence, and overall test status.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
• Perform defect retesting and regression testing following configuration or code changes.
• Participate in defect triage, sprint ceremonies, test planning, and release readiness discussions.
• Support user acceptance testing by preparing test scenarios, coordinating execution, and assisting business users with issue resolution.
• Perform integration testing to validate data flows between Salesforce, MuleSoft, the legacy application, and other connected systems.
• Support data migration validation by checking migrated Salesforce records for completeness, accuracy, field mapping, relationships, and business rule compliance.
• Assist with production validation and post-deployment testing.
• Maintain test documentation, requirements traceability, test execution reports, and quality metrics.

Salesforce Tester

We are seeking a Salesforce Tester to support manual testing in Salesforce implementation project.

The primary responsibility of this role is to perform comprehensive functional testing of Salesforce features and business processes, integrations and data migrations.

This role is best suited for a detail-oriented Salesforce tester who can independently develop and execute test scripts, identify functional issues, and help ensure Salesforce delivers a high-quality user experience.
