About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce QA Engineer with hands-on experience with manual and automation testing to join our fast-growing team.We'relooking for team members who bring at least two years of software testing experienceleveragingplatforms such as Selenium and can work well in an Agile Team to deliver critical software solutions to a large federal program.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with our development teams and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into comprehensive test cases and scenarios.
- Design,develop, and executetest plans, test cases, and test scripts for Salesforce applications, includingmanual, automated, API, performance, and regression tests
- Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools such as JIRA
- Build automation frameworks using Selenium, Playwright,Provar, or similar tools
- Perform regression testing tovalidatefixes and ensure that new enhancements do notadversely impactexisting functionality.
- Participate in the deployment process by conducting smoke tests and verifying successful deployments in different environments.
- Review test results and evaluate for conformance to design.
- Serve assubjectmatter specialist providing testingknow-howto make our software solutions defect free when delivered.
- Ensure testing documentation is updated based on the new user requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Write,implementand report status for system test cases for testing based on system design specifications.
- Provide regular status updates on testing progress, issues, and risks to your team and projectstakeholdersas necessary.
- Contribute to the overall quality assurance strategy andparticipatein team meetings and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Stay updated onSalesforcebest practices, new features, and industry trends to enhance the quality of testing efforts.
- Execute accessibility and Section 508 testing.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Three (3) years of experienceinSalesforce testing
- Two (2) years of hands-on experience working as a Salesforce QA Engineer with test automation tools such as Selenium or Apex testing framework.
- Experience with Agile delivery and Jira
- In-depth knowledge of Salesforce platform features, configurations, and capabilities.
- Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, witha keenattention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Administrator or Salesforce Platform App Builder are a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
