Job summary

Vaisesika is seeking an experienced Salesforce Technical Project Manager to lead end-to-end Salesforce implementation and transformation projects. You will oversee scope, schedule, budget, risks, and cross-functional delivery across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and more.

The role requires deep Salesforce technical knowledge, strong PM skills, and experience with Agile delivery, data migration, and releases.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Technical Project Manager to lead end-to-end Salesforce implementation and transformation projects. The ideal candidate should have strong project management expertise along with a good understanding of the Salesforce technical ecosystem, integrations, data migration, releases, and Agile delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Salesforce projects from requirements through deployment and production support.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, issues, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Work closely with Salesforce Architects, Developers, Business Analysts, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders.
• Understand and review Salesforce technical architecture, solution design, integrations, and data models.
• Manage Salesforce implementations across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, or Industry Clouds.
• Coordinate Salesforce development involving Apex, LWC, SOQL, Flows, Triggers, APIs and integrations.
• Oversee data migration, environment management, testing, deployment, and release management.
• Manage Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog prioritization, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Track project KPIs, milestones, risks, dependencies, and overall delivery status.
• Conduct project governance meetings and provide status reports to senior management.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Identify and resolve technical/project risks, blockers, and escalations.
• Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices, security standards, quality processes, and release/deployment procedures.
• Coordinate with offshore/onshore teams and manage cross-functional delivery.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong Salesforce platform knowledge.
• Apex, LWC, SOQL, Triggers, Flows – working knowledge.
• Salesforce APIs and integrations – REST/SOAP.
• Middleware/integration technologies.
• Salesforce security and sharing model.
• Data migration tools such as Data Loader / Workbench.
• CI/CD and Salesforce DevOps concepts.
• Experience with Git, Gearset, Copado, AutoRABIT or similar tools.
• Understanding of Salesforce environments, releases and deployment processes.
• Understanding of Salesforce architecture, governor limits and integration patterns.

Project Management Skills

• Strong experience in Agile/Scrum and preferably SAFe.
• Project planning, estimation, scheduling and resource management.
• Risk, issue, dependency and change management.
• Budget and financial tracking.
• Sprint and backlog management.
• Stakeholder and executive management.
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.

Experience & Qualifications

• 12+ years of overall IT experience.
• 4+ years of Salesforce project/program management experience.
• Experience delivering multiple end-to-end Salesforce implementations.
• Salesforce certification such as Administrator, Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant or Platform Developer is preferred.
• PMP / PMI-ACP / Scrum Master / SAFe certification is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
