Job summary

Cardinal Health seeks a Technical Lead (Salesforce) to drive technical execution and engineering enablement across ConnectSource and Marketing Cloud. You will translate business intent into Salesforce designs, lead architecture decisions, and collaborate with Solution Owners and Product to ensure secure, scalable solutions.

You will own design reviews, guide SDLC rigor, and mentor engineers while partnering with Risk/Security to enforce controls and reliability across multi‑team initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience preferred.
• 8+ years of hands‑on application development experience (custom and/or enterprise platforms) preferred.
• Strong Salesforce technical experience (configuration + integration + SDLC delivery) preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical initiatives and resolve production issues effectively.
• Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and enterprise CRM integrations preferred.
• Experience with build/run operational practices, security controls, and regulated environments preferred.
• Experience producing reusable Salesforce patterns, standards, and technical roadmaps preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own technical ownership and execution quality for Salesforce solution areas, including implementation approach and delivery of technical components to standards.
• Lead design and code/configuration reviews (Apex, integrations, Flows, security model, data model).
• Identify Salesforce platform risks early and propose options and mitigation plans with delivery leadership.
• Provide Salesforce architecture awareness (data model, permissioning, integration patterns) to ensure end‑to‑end fit.
• Define and reinforce Salesforce standards/patterns to promote consistency and reuse.
