Job summary

Hometap seeks an experienced Salesforce Technical Lead to own the technical direction of our Salesforce org, guiding architecture, data models, and integrations across go-to-market, operations, and reporting. You’ll translate business needs into scalable Salesforce solutions while mentoring admins and developers.

You’ll collaborate with engineering, product, and business leaders to ensure a healthy, secure Salesforce ecosystem and lead governance around releases, CI/CD, and sandbox strategies.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Salesforce experience with lead/architecture focus.
• Multiple Salesforce certifications as listed; Applications Architect status preferred.
• Experience designing scalable Salesforce solutions using configuration and custom development (Apex, LWC, APIs).
• Knowledge of data modeling, sharing/security, governor limits, and performance considerations.
• Hands-on DevOps for Salesforce (Gearset, Copado) with CI/CD and version control.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical lead for our Salesforce ecosystem, owning solution design and governance.
• Partner with business stakeholders to translate objectives into scalable Salesforce solutions across clouds.
• Lead data model design, automation strategies, and integration patterns.
• Provide guidance to admins and developers; ensure alignment across initiatives.
• Oversee Salesforce releases, platform updates, and feature deprecations; evaluate new features.
• Define and enforce best practices for development, deployment, and sandbox strategy.
• Lead code reviews and performance optimizations; troubleshoot complex issues.
• Collaborate on integrations with other platforms and define APIs and data flows.
• Maintain security/compliance posture with audits and preventative controls.
• Create and maintain robust technical documentation and governance policies.
