Job summary

Sprezzatura is seeking a Salesforce Technical Architect to lead design, governance, and integration across multiple Salesforce apps and orgs. You will guide technical decisions, review code, and mentor senior developers, ensuring architectural integrity and scalable delivery.

This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and a strong emphasis on enterprise patterns and DevOps practices. The position is hybrid in the Arlington, VA area with a focus on governance, system

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in Salesforce development and architecture, with a strong focus on complex system integration and technical leadership.
Proven experience in leading architecture design and technical sessions within the Salesforce ecosystem.
In-depth knowledge of Salesforce platform architecture, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Health Cloud.
Strong experience in Salesforce integrations with third-party services, middleware, and databases.
Proficiency with design patterns, class models, and sequence diagrams for Salesforce solutions.
Expertise in establishing and maintaining architecture governance processes and best practices documentation.
Experience in managing multiple Salesforce orgs and multi-org environments.
In-depth understanding of unit testing frameworks, including Jest for LWC and Apex unit testing.
Experience implementing enterprise-level design patterns and frameworks at scale.
Solid understanding of Salesforce platform limits, performance tuning, secure coding practices and optimization techniques.
Strong troubleshooting skills with Salesforce developer tools, debug logs, and performance monitoring tools.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools to support CI/CD.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git, Copado), and deployment automation.

Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Guidance: Collaborate with architecture and development teams to perform code reviews and ensure alignment with architecture and design.
Design & Architecture Sessions: Lead technical design sessions, create class models, sequence diagrams, and design specifications.
Governance & Best Practices: Maintain governance documentation and best practices accessible to all teams.
Multi-Org Management Support: Support service initiatives for managing 8+ Salesforce orgs across environments.
System Integrator Liaison: Act as architectural liaison for SI products to ensure alignment and seamless integration.
Mentorship & Coaching: Mentor senior developers on architecture, coding standards, and best practices.
Collaboration with Technical Leaders: Work with other leaders to align Salesforce initiatives across the organization.
