The Opportunity

An established South Florida bank is hiring a Salesforce Technical Architect and Lead to be the senior technical authority for its Salesforce platform. The environment spans Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Financial Services Cloud, plus the custom development and integration surrounding nCino for loan origination, and the bank is making AI-assisted development a core part of how the platform gets built.

This is not a product owner or admin leadership role. You own the technical architecture, code quality, DevOps, and engineering standards, lead a team of Salesforce developers, and stay hands‑on enough in Apex and Lightning Web Components to review and approve code, challenge design decisions, and gate what gets promoted to production. The bank wants someone who is AI‑forward in practice and can lead a team through adopting AI‑assisted tooling across the development lifecycle.

What You’ll Do
  • Serve as the technical design authority across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Financial Services Cloud, aligned to Enterprise Architecture standards and approved Architecture Decision Records
  • Lead all pro‑code development on the platform, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL and SOSL optimization, Platform Events, asynchronous processing, and legacy Visualforce remediation
  • Own Salesforce DevOps: source‑driven development with Salesforce DX, Git branching and merge strategy, CI/CD pipelines, static code analysis, automated testing, and sandbox and release management
  • Perform and approve design and code reviews for internal and vendor work, gating promotion on standards, test coverage, security, and performance
  • Design and govern integration architecture with the Integration team, including API‑led and event‑driven patterns to core banking, identity, and data platforms
  • Establish and govern the team’s AI‑assisted development practice, including approved generative AI coding tools such as Claude Code, prompt and context standards, and mandatory human review of AI‑generated code
  • Advise the Product team on technical design in and around the nCino Loan Origination System, including extension patterns, integration touchpoints, and upgrade impact
  • Lead and develop the Salesforce development team, set engineering standards, and direct the technical work of vendor and contractor resources
  • Represent the platform in architecture governance forums and respond to audit, risk, and examination inquiries with supporting evidence
What We’re Looking For
  • 8 to 10 years of hands‑on software engineering, including at least 6 years designing and building on the Salesforce platform in a pro‑code capacity (Apex, LWC, SOQL, platform APIs)
  • 5 to 7 years as technical lead or architect for a Salesforce org of comparable scale, holding design authority and owning code review and engineering standards for a development team
  • Proven ownership of Salesforce DevOps: Salesforce DX, Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and release and environment management
  • Hands‑on experience with AI‑assisted development tools such as Claude Code, and the judgment to govern their use in a regulated environment
  • Direct people management experience, or a clear record of leading developers and vendor resources
  • Financial services or other regulated industry background
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
  • US Citizen or Green Card holder. No sponsorship or visa transfers.
Preferred Experience
  • Banking or lending environments; nCino or Financial Services Cloud implementation
  • Salesforce Application or System Architect certifications
  • Experience with an enterprise integration platform such as MuleSoft

This is a senior leadership seat with real ownership of a bank’s Salesforce platform and the mandate to modernize how it gets built.
