Job description

  • Experience with Einstein AI features, such as Einstein Copilot, Lead Scoring, or Opportunity Insights.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Salesforce Developer based in the United States.

Take ownership of a core business platform and help shape how a growing SaaS organization uses technology, automation, and artificial intelligence to operate more efficiently. As a Salesforce Developer, you will manage the platform end to end, combining hands‑on administration and configuration with custom development and systems integration. You will work across Sales Cloud, Einstein AI, and CPQ solutions to build scalable tools that support Sales, Finance, and Operations. From resolving production issues to designing integrations and developing custom user experiences, your work will directly influence business performance. You will also help modernize processes through AI adoption, platform improvements, and thoughtful technical architecture. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Salesforce professional who enjoys solving complex problems, balancing configuration with code, and turning business needs into maintainable solutions.

Accountabilities

You will be responsible for the day-to-day health, development, and long-term evolution of the Salesforce platform, partnering with cross‑functional stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable solutions. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Own the administration, configuration, maintenance, and overall health of Salesforce across Sales Cloud, Einstein AI, and the Nue CPQ platform.
  • Diagnose and resolve production issues promptly, troubleshooting both declarative configurations and custom code.
  • Design, develop, and maintain custom Apex classes, triggers, batch jobs, and scheduled jobs.
  • Build and maintain Lightning Web Components (LWC) to deliver tailored user experiences.
  • Develop and support REST and SOAP API integrations between Salesforce and third‑party systems, including QuickBooks, Stripe, and Nue CPQ.
  • Write clean, documented, testable code and maintain a minimum of 85% code coverage.
  • Evaluate business requirements and determine whether declarative tools, such as Salesforce Flow and validation rules, or custom development provide the most effective solution.
  • Configure and deploy Flows, validation rules, custom objects, fields, page layouts, and other Salesforce components.
  • Manage sandbox environments, deployment workflows, change sets, and CI/CD processes.
  • Ensure solutions comply with Salesforce governor limits, support bulk processing, and remain scalable and maintainable over time.
  • Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate them into technical designs, data models, integrations, and effective platform solutions.
  • Document configurations, architecture decisions, technical specifications, data models, and integration requirements.
  • Participate in sprint planning and project prioritization in collaboration with Revenue Operations leadership.
  • Partner with Sales, Finance, Operations, and Revenue Operations to align Salesforce capabilities with business goals and operational needs.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, data models, automation, and platform performance.
  • Stay current with Salesforce releases, Einstein AI capabilities, Agentforce, developer tools, and emerging platform functionality, evaluating and implementing relevant improvements.
  • Manage projects from requirements gathering through development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
  • Adhere to confidentiality requirements, compliance obligations, and applicable organizational standards.
Requirements

You are an experienced Salesforce professional who combines strong development skills with practical platform administration, architectural judgment, and a consultative approach. You can work independently, manage projects from start to finish, and communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. The required qualifications include:

  • At least seven years of hands‑on Salesforce administration and development experience, including Apex, SOQL/SOSL, and Salesforce data model design.
  • At least one year of experience with AI and transitioning processes to AI‑enabled approaches.
  • Strong proficiency with Salesforce Flow, including Screen Flows, Record‑Triggered Flows, and Scheduled Flows.
  • Experience developing Lightning Web Components and a solid understanding of the Lightning component framework.
  • Hands‑on experience with Sales Cloud, including opportunity management, lead routing, and forecasting.
  • Experience building and maintaining REST or SOAP API integrations.
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce governor limits, bulkification, and asynchronous processing patterns.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects end to end, from requirements gathering and prioritization through implementation and deployment.
  • At least two active Salesforce certifications covering both administrator and developer tracks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non‑technical audiences.
  • Sound judgment when choosing between declarative configuration and custom code, with the ability to implement either approach.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills, particularly when diagnosing production issues across configurations and code.
  • Excellent requirements‑gathering, project management, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
  • A commitment to writing clean, documented, testable, and maintainable code.
  • A proactive, consultative mindset with the ability to recommend improvements to existing processes, workflows, and data models.
Preferred Qualifications Include
  • Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I or II, Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant, Salesforce Certified Integration Architecture Designer, or Agentforce Specialist.
  • Experience with CPQ solutions, including Nue, Salesforce CPQ, or similar platforms, and quote‑to‑cash or order‑to‑cash workflows.

  • Experience with Einstein AI features, such as Einstein Copilot, Lead Scoring, or Opportunity Insights.
  • Knowledge of Agentforce or generative AI tools within the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Experience with Salesforce DX (SFDX), scratch orgs, and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Copado, or Gearset.
  • Exposure to platform events, Change Data Capture (CDC), or the Salesforce streaming API.
  • Experience working in a SaaS or subscription‑based business environment.
Benefits
  • Annual compensation range of $151,465.68–$185,545.46.
  • The opportunity to take end‑to‑end ownership of a strategic Salesforce platform.
  • A hands‑on role combining platform administration, custom development, integrations, architecture, and AI‑enabled process improvement.
  • Collaboration with Sales, Finance, Operations, and Revenue Operations stakeholders.
  • Opportunities to evaluate and implement new Salesforce and AI capabilities.
  • The ability to influence technical architecture, improve business processes, and build scalable solutions in a growing SaaS environment.
