Job summary

City National Bank of Florida seeks a Salesforce Technical Architect to lead the platform's technical design and DevOps across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and FSC. You will mentor a team of developers, enforce engineering standards, and drive integration patterns with nCino and other core systems.

You will oversee data modeling, security architecture, and governance while partnering with Enterprise Architecture and Product teams to align on roadmaps and upgrades.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of hands-on software engineering experience, with at least 6 years designing/building on Salesforce.
• 5–7 years experience as technical lead or architect for a Salesforce org of comparable scale.
• Hands-on Salesforce DevOps experience: DX, Git, CI/CD, static analysis, automated tests.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical design authority for the Salesforce platform across Sales/Service/Experience Cloud and FSC.
• Lead pro-code development (Apex, LWC, SOQL/SOSL) and establish coding standards and reusable frameworks.
• Own Salesforce DevOps practices and ensure robust CI/CD, source control, and tooling.
• Define and enforce release management, environment strategy, and deployment automation for regulated environment.
• Review designs and code; gate promotions based on standards, test coverage, security, and performance.
• Design and govern integration architectures with API-led patterns and enterprise platform.
• Collaborate with Admins on data model, sharing, and security to stay aligned with policies.
• Direct vendor/contractor work, ensuring deliverables meet agreed standards and timing.
• Create and maintain technical docs, ADRs, runbooks, and onboarding materials.
• Represent Salesforce platform in governance forums and participate in budgeting and scoping.
