Overview
This is a remote role that may only be hired in the following locations: NC, NH, FL, AZ, TX.
This position is responsible for continually improving and enhancing the Salesforce platform. Works with Salesforce Platform, Salesforce Lightning, and Salesforce Security. Analyzes project objectives, creates customer workflows, and troubleshoots errors.
Responsibilities
- Utilizes Salesforce programming to include custom user interface development, including Visualforce pages/Lightning pages, and Lightning Web Components.
- Develops Apex classes and triggers, Visualforce pages (based on specific requirements) to extend Salesforce to support business needs.
- Uses Salesforce automation tools such as Flows, Process Builder, Workflows, Einstein Orchestrator.
- Performs Salesforce integrations with other organizational systems.
- Uses Salesforce APIs to facilitate system integrations.
- Integrates and maintains business applications within Salesforce, such as DocuSign.
- Collaborates with IT/Developers for system integrations across the business.
- Adheres to Salesforce best practices, maintains code documentation, and writes/maintains test classes for all custom development.
- Manages release cycles to implement and deploy new or updated applications and codes, utilizing DevOps tools like Copado.
- Resolves complex technical support issues for internal users by understanding requests, triaging solutions, and solving problems independently.
- Stays current with Salesforce technologies and best practices.
- Creates and executes unit, integration, and user acceptance test plans, including use cases and test data.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience in application software programming OR High School Diploma or GED and 6 years of experience in application software programming.
Preferred:
- Experience managing Salesforce data, including knowledge of SOQL or SQL, and at least 6 months of exposure to the Salesforce.com APEX data loader. Salesforce Developer certification is a plus.
- Extensive knowledge of Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Apex, VisualForce, Lightning Web Components, Force.com tools, and applications.
- Proficiency with Lightning Components using the Lightning Design System framework, Apex, Apex data loader, and declarative platform tools such as Process Builder, Visual Workflow, Lightning App Builder, etc.
- Knowledge of Dell Boomi and Salesforce integration is a plus.
