Job summary

nesto is seeking a QA/Test Engineer focused on Salesforce applications to drive automated testing efforts and ensure rigorous quality across releases.

You’ll work with Postman for API testing, X-ray for test management, and Salesforce deployment tools in a fast-paced environment. Collaboration with a Salesforce-focused team is essential, with strong growth opportunities in cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software testing experience, with Salesforce apps (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Community Cloud).
• 2+ years in automated functional testing tools, preferably Playwright.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills; deep understanding of Salesforce security models.
• Experience with Postman for API testing (Salesforce REST & Bulk API).
• Experience with X-ray or similar test management tools integrated with Jira.
• Exposure to Agile methodologies and Salesforce deployment processes (Sales DX, Copado, Flosum).
• Salesforce Certifications are a strong asset (e.g., Administrator, Platform App Builder).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science is an asset.
• Team-oriented mindset with fast-paced collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Review manual test cases for Salesforce customizations and provide automation feedback to the project team.
• Support, maintain, and enhance test automation activities across multiple Salesforce releases.
• Review user stories and requirements to ensure test coverage for standard and custom Salesforce objects.
• Assist with manual testing; execute test cases and scripts using test management tools.
• Create and maintain test plans, cases, and data in line with QA standards.
• Configure and maintain Salesforce testing environments (Sandboxes, Scratch Orgs).
• Contribute to QA processes, tools, and CI/CD adoption in the Salesforce ecosystem.
• Design and implement automation scripts using Playwright for Salesforce Lightning interfaces.
