Job summary

Osaic seeks a Director of Software Engineering, Salesforce to lead the teams responsible for designing, building, and scaling our Salesforce platform and integration ecosystem. This leader will own the technical strategy and delivery for Salesforce modules and custom Apex/Lightning development, partnering with Product, Architecture, and business stakeholders.

You will manage engineering managers, set engineering standards, drive DevOps maturity, and ensure secure, high-performing solutions

Qualifications

10+ years of software engineering experience, incl. 5+ years on Salesforce platform.
5+ years of people leadership managing engineering managers or senior developers.
Hands-on expertise with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Salesforce APIs, and integration patterns.
Strong knowledge of Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud; Financial Services Cloud preferred.
Proven experience leading enterprise-scale Salesforce implementations, migrations, or major platform upgrades.
CI/CD, automated testing, version control, and release management.
Experience partnering with Product, Architecture, Security, and Compliance in regulated industry.
Excellent communication to present technical strategy to executives.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills balancing rigor with delivery.

Responsibilities

Lead and grow a team of engineering managers, tech leads, and Salesforce developers.
Own technical strategy, architecture, and long-term Salesforce roadmap.
Partner with Product Management to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
Drive engineering excellence with CI/CD, automated testing, and DevOps maturity.
Oversee Salesforce performance, scalability, and platform health.
Enforce secure development practices aligned with security and regulatory needs.
Serve as primary technical escalation point for incidents and high-risk releases.
Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture for integration with the broader tech ecosystem.
Manage vendor/consulting relationships for Salesforce implementations.
Champion Agile practices; participate in sprint planning and design reviews.
Own capacity planning, staffing, and budget for Salesforce engineering.
