Job summary

Osaic seeks a Director of Software Engineering, Salesforce to lead teams building and scaling our Salesforce platform and its integrations. You will own the technical strategy and delivery for Salesforce across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, partnering with product and business stakeholders to deliver secure, high-performing solutions.

You will manage engineering managers and leads, set engineering standards, and drive architecture, DevOps, and security practices in a highly visible leadership

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years building and architecting solutions on the Salesforce platform.
• 5+ years of people leadership experience managing engineering managers, technical leads, or senior developers.
• Deep hands-on expertise with Salesforce development, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, Salesforce APIs, and integration patterns.
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud; Financial Services Cloud experience strongly preferred.
• Proven experience leading enterprise-scale Salesforce implementations, migrations, or major platform upgrades.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD, automated testing, version control, and release management.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of engineering managers, technical leads, and Salesforce developers, setting clear performance expectations and career development paths.
• Own the technical strategy, architecture, and long-term platform roadmap for the Salesforce ecosystem, including custom development, integrations, and third-party managed packages.
• Partner with Product Management to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable technical solutions.
• Drive engineering excellence through code quality standards, CI/CD practices, automated testing, release management, and DevOps maturity.
• Oversee system performance, scalability, and reliability of the Salesforce platform, including governance of org limits, technical debt, and platform health.
• Establish and enforce secure development practices in alignment with information security, data privacy, and financial services regulatory requirements.
