We Are Hiring
  • Department: Studio Engagement Services
  • Schedule: Full-Time Monday - Friday 8-5 pm CT
  • Location: Remote
What You Will Do

Job Summary: Leads the design and execution of development on the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Works with end business users to develop, code, and launch complex email and SMS campaigns
  • Translates end-user-stated business objectives into actionable solutions and understands end-user communication needs and data streams
  • Designs and documents solutions to leverage automation, dynamic content, data-driven segmentation, and other sophisticated Salesforce Marketing Cloud capabilities
  • Leverages Salesforce Marketing Cloud tools and scripting languages including but not limited to Email Studio, Mobile Studio, Content Builder, Journey Builder, Contact Builder, Audience Builder, Automation Studio, & Dynamic Content Areas to deliver highly dynamic and personalized content
  • Works with the customer to understand key campaign parameters and requirements
  • Works with other members of the Engagement Services team to provide best practice recommendations to customers
  • Designs and documents solutions that leverage automation, dynamic content, data-driven segmentation, and other capabilities to maximize customer success
  • Leverages a foundational understanding of data modeling to determine data flow and transformations necessary to import and transform data for journeys
  • Creates automation for file/data import, audience segmentation, and journey kick-offs using automation activities including SQL Queries, File Transfers, Import Files, Data Extracts, Verifications, Send Email, Send SMS
  • Develops SQL code to import and transform data using Data Extensions and SFTP connectors
  • Creates and utilizes AMPscript to personalize emails and add dynamic content
  • Identifies and defines Journey entry sources and decision splits using Data Extensions, Lists (or Audiences), Salesforce Data, API, Events
  • Works independently to ensure customer success

  • Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and minimal supervision.
  • Must handle stressful environments effectively.
  • Requires excellent communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience on the SFMC platform in email, SMS, and push notifications
  • Expertise in AMPScript and Javascript, including creating triggered sends, dynamic content, data extension operations, and personalization
  • 2 years of experience with SFMC Journey Builder, Audience Builder, Automation Studio, Dynamic Content
  • 1 year of experience with email-compliant HTML
  • Experience in writing reusable code templates and executing test plans
  • Experience testing across browsers and email clients, with a strong sense of web design and UX fundamentals
  • 3 years of team experience in fast-paced environments involving solutions design and technical development
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with minimal oversight
  • 5 years of IT work experience with a Bachelor's degree or higher preferred

Must have one Certification: Marketing Cloud Admin, Marketing Cloud Consultant, or Certified Email Specialist.

Education:

  • High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or an Associate's or Bachelor's degree

Work Experience:

  • 1 year of experience required
  • 4 years preferred
  • 2 years leadership or management experience preferred
