Job summary

Maximus is hiring a Business Analyst to join our NY Shared Services team. This role focuses on New York Medicaid Choice, working with operations and technology to gather requirements and drive process improvements.

You will translate business needs into Salesforce-focused solutions that enhance operations and support program goals. You will partner with stakeholders to support system enhancements, participate in testing, and help ensure successful releases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in business/systems analysis.
• Experience translating business needs into functional requirements and workflows.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Access, and other business software.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into functional requirements, workflows, and process documentation.
• Partner with operations, technical teams, and project stakeholders to support system enhancements and process improvements.
• Support Salesforce and other enterprise applications through requirements gathering, testing, and solution validation.
• Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect tracking, and release readiness activities.
• Investigate system issues and support production problem resolution.
• Create and maintain business requirements, process flows, and other project documentation.
