Job summary

Maximus is hiring a Business Analyst to join our NY Shared Services team. This role supports multiple New York programs, including New York Medicaid Choice, by gathering requirements and driving process improvements in a Salesforce-focused environment.

You will translate business needs into functional requirements, help with UAT, testing, and solution validation, and work with operations and technology teams to deliver effective system solutions.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant professional experience required.
• Experience translating business needs into functional requirements.
• Experience collaborating with business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Access, and other business software applications.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into functional requirements, workflows, and process documentation.
• Partner with operations, technical teams, and project stakeholders to support system enhancements and process improvements.
• Support Salesforce and other enterprise applications through requirements gathering, testing, and solution validation.
• Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect tracking, and release readiness activities.
• Investigate system issues and support production problem resolution.
• Create and maintain business requirements, process flows, and other project documentation.
