Job summary

Maximus is hiring a Business Analyst to join our NY Shared Services team. This role focuses on solving business problems, improving processes, and partnering with stakeholders to deliver effective system solutions, with a Salesforce focus.

You will gather requirements, support system enhancements for New York Medicaid Choice, translate needs into functional specs, and participate in UAT and production support. A Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years in business analysis are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience considered in lieu of degree.
• 3+ years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, operations analysis, or system implementation.
• Experience translating business needs into functional requirements, workflows, or business processes.
• Experience collaborating with business stakeholders and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into functional requirements, workflows, and process documentation.
• Partner with operations, technical teams, and project stakeholders to support system enhancements and process improvements.
• Support Salesforce and other enterprise applications through requirements gathering, testing, and solution validation.
• Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect tracking, and release readiness activities.
• Investigate system issues and support production problem resolution.
• Create and maintain business requirements, process flows, and other project documentation.
