Job summary

The Carlyle Group in New York, NY, seeks a Business Analyst to support technology initiatives within Client Solutions Group Technology. You will gather requirements, write user stories, support testing, build reports and dashboards, and help improve investor and prospect data quality across platforms.

Collaborate with fundraising, sales, and investor services teams, maintain the backlog in Jira, and help integrate Salesforce with adjacent platforms.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in product management or business analyst roles, preferably within Private Equity, Financial Services, or Technology.
• Hands-on experience owning or implementing a CRM platform, with Salesforce strongly preferred, including configuration, release management, and reporting.
• Experience leading or playing a central role in a CRM or enterprise platform implementation, including data validation, user training, and rollout.
• Familiarity with institutional fundraising, client coverage, or sales processes preferred; experience supporting a commercial or front office user base is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Requirements gathering with fundraising, sales, and investor services users to document clear, detailed requirements for enhancements.
• Write user stories and acceptance criteria, maintain the backlog in Jira under the product manager’s direction.
• Test script creation, coordinate user acceptance testing, log defects, and support release activities including post-release validation.
• Document current and future state workflows and platform processes to reduce knowledge silos.
• Support day-to-day Salesforce operations for fundraising, sales, and investor services users; maintain investor & prospect data models and perform data quality hygiene.
