Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner, seeks an experienced Salesforce Engineering Manager in the United States to lead a team of Salesforce engineers and administrators. This hands-on leadership role combines technical contribution with people management to deliver scalable Salesforce solutions across multiple business functions.

You will drive engineering best practices, partner with cross-functional stakeholders, and focus on platform reliability, performance, and low technical debt.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 4+ years managing Salesforce engineering teams.
• Deep technical expertise in Salesforce technologies (Apex, SOQL, LWC, Flow, security/sharing, governor limits, data architecture).
• Strong experience with Salesforce DevOps practices and tools (SFDX, Git, CI/CD, sandbox management, automated testing).
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and communicate with stakeholders.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, coaching, communication, and prioritization skills.
• Experience balancing hands-on engineering with people management.
• Experience in hospitality, travel, timeshare, vacation ownership, or reservation-based industries is a plus.
• Familiarity with Salesforce Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, or Marketing Cloud an advantage.
• Experience using project tools like Linear is desirable.
• Knowledge of AI-assisted development tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a Salesforce engineering team through performance management and onboarding.
• Collaborate with platform operations and Salesforce architecture teams to prioritize initiatives and ensure predictable delivery.
• Maintain hands-on contribution (~25% of cycle).
• Partner with stakeholders across Customer Care, Operations, Finance, Product, and leadership to deliver scalable Salesforce solutions.
• Establish engineering best practices including code reviews, automated testing, and documentation.
• Improve platform stability, performance, and reduce technical debt.
• Act as escalation point for incidents and drive postmortems and improvements.
• Document and communicate team priorities, workloads, and progress.
