Job summary

LocumTenens.com, located in Alpharetta, GA, seeks a Software Development Manager for Salesforce to lead multiple agile teams delivering Salesforce-based solutions aligned with business goals. You will coach engineers, promote DevOps and testing best practices, and drive on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role combines hands-on leadership with strategic planning, stakeholder alignment, and metric reporting to senior technology leaders.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
7+ years of experience in Salesforce development and configuration on Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
3+ years in a leadership or managerial capacity overseeing Salesforce or CRM teams.
Salesforce DevOps tools experience (Copado, Gearset, Salesforce DevOps Center or DX, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and manage one or more Agile-based Salesforce development teams, focusing on performance and continuous improvement.
Oversee the full software development lifecycle from planning through deployment and support.
Collaborate with Product Managers and stakeholders to set priorities and manage sprint planning/backlog.
Drive adherence to Agile principles and DevOps practices to improve productivity and quality.
Provide detailed reporting on team performance, KPIs, and budgets to senior leadership.
Identify risks and blockers and address impediments affecting delivery.
