Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line is seeking a Salesforce Developer II to design world-class Salesforce apps and deliver scalable analytics using Tableau. You will work with Business Analysts and Administrators to meet CRM requirements and drive key business decisions.

Responsibilities include building Apex, Lightning Components, and Visualforce, integrating Salesforce with external services, and maintaining Tableau dashboards.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Salesforce development experience.
• Experience developing customer-facing interfaces.
• Experience writing Apex classes and triggers.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication and data presentation skills.
• Understanding of Salesforce architecture and API.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with other applications.
• 2+ years of experience developing dashboards using Tableau.
• Proficiency in SQL for querying and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into Salesforce solutions.
• Design, code, and implement Salesforce applications.
• Develop Apex classes and triggers, Lightning Components, and Visualforce.
• Assist with release cycles and deployments of updates.
• Develop integrations from Salesforce to internal and third-party services.
• Test stability and functionality of the application.
• Troubleshoot and fix bugs while maintaining security.
• Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
• Support Tableau Server/Cloud deployments, publishing, scheduling, and refreshes.
