Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line is seeking a Salesforce Developer II to design world-class Salesforce applications and deliver scalable analytics using Tableau and Salesforce data. You will collaborate with Business Analysts and Salesforce Administrators to create solutions that drive key decisions and support CRM requirements.

The role emphasizes Apex development, Lightning Components, Visualforce, and data visualization, with involvement in integrations and deployments.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Salesforce development experience.
• Experience developing customer-facing interfaces.
• Experience writing Apex classes and triggers.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication and data presentation skills.
• Understanding of Salesforce architecture and API.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with other applications.
• Experience with Tableau dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements, translating those requirements into Salesforce solutions.
• Design, code, and implement Salesforce applications.
• Develop Apex classes and triggers and extend Salesforce capabilities.
• Estimate work effort with project leadership and set schedules.
• Assist with release cycles and deployments of code and updates.
• Develop integrations from Salesforce to internal and third-party services.
• Test stability and functionality of the application.
• Troubleshoot and fix bugs; maintain security and integrity.
• Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
• Support Tableau Server/Cloud deployments, publishing, scheduling, and refreshes.
