Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line, a leading LTL carrier, is seeking a Salesforce Developer II to design and implement Salesforce solutions that support CRM and Tableau analytics. You will collaborate with business analysts and administrators to deliver scalable, high-performance applications and dashboards.

The role requires Apex development, Lightning Components, and data integration expertise, with opportunities for growth in a family-focused OD environment and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering preferred.
• Platform Developer II Certification preferred.
• 4+ years Salesforce development experience.
• Experience with Apex classes and triggers.
• Experience building customer-facing interfaces.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Understanding of Salesforce architecture and API.
• Experience with GitHub or version control software.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with other applications.
• 2+ years Tableau dashboard development.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate into Salesforce solutions.
• Design, code, and implement Salesforce applications.
• Develop Apex classes/triggers and Lightning Components.
• Estimate work effort with project leadership.
• Deploy updates to applications and code.
• Develop integrations from Salesforce to internal services.
• Test, troubleshoot, and maintain security of applications.
• Design and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports.
• Support Tableau Server/Cloud deployments.
