Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line is seeking a Salesforce Developer II to design world-class CRM solutions on the Salesforce platform. You will develop Apex classes and triggers, Lightning components, and Visualforce pages while collaborating with business analysts and Salesforce admins to translate requirements into scalable, high-performance apps.

You will also build and optimize Tableau dashboards and data visualizations to support business decisions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Salesforce development experience.
• Experience developing customer-facing interfaces.
• Experience writing Apex classes and triggers.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication and data presentation skills.
• Understanding of and experience with Salesforce architecture and API.
• Experience using GitHub or other version control software.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with other applications.
• 2+ years of experience developing dashboards using Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and translate into Salesforce solutions.
• Design, code, and implement Salesforce apps.
• Develop Apex classes/triggers, Lightning components, and Visualforce.
• With project leadership, estimate work effort and set a schedule for development.
• Assist with release cycles to deploy new/updated applications.
• Develop integrations from Salesforce to internal and third-party services.
• Test stability and functionality of the application.
• Troubleshoot and fix bugs.
• Maintain security and integrity of the software.
• Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
• Support Tableau Server/Cloud deployments, publishing, scheduling, and refreshes.
