Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line is seeking a Salesforce Developer II to design and implement world-class Salesforce applications and Tableau analytics. You will work with analysts to translate requirements into scalable solutions, build Apex and Lightning components, and ensure secure, high-performance integrations.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of Salesforce development, strong problem-solving, and excellent communication skills, with Tableau experience for data visualization and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering preferred.
• Platform Developer II Certification (preferred).
• 4+ years of Salesforce development experience.
• Experience writing Apex classes and triggers.
• Experience developing dashboards using Tableau.
• Strong verbal and written communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements, translating them into Salesforce solutions.
• Design, code, and implement Salesforce applications.
• Develop Apex classes/triggers, Lightning Components, and Visualforce.
• Estimate work effort and schedule development timelines.
• Assist with releases and deployments of new/updated applications.
• Develop integrations from Salesforce to internal and third-party services.
• Test stability and functionality of the application.
• Troubleshoot and fix bugs; maintain security and data integrity.
• Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports.
• Support Tableau Server/Cloud deployments and refreshes.
