Job summary

Evidence In Motion (EIM) is seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer/Administrator to implement and optimize Education Cloud across the organization. You will manage Salesforce platforms, including Education Cloud and Marketing Cloud, and collaborate with Enrollment, Marketing, Clinical Education, and Post Professional Services.

The role requires hands-on Salesforce Admin and Developer experience, with a focus on integrations (Zoom, Canvas, Outlook/Calendly) and delivering scalable solutions for

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on experience as both Salesforce Administrator and Developer.
• Experience with Omni-Channel and Amazon Connect configuring call centers, queues, routing.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with third-party systems via REST APIs and OAuth.
• Education sector exposure (higher education/OPM) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, analyze, and maintain all Salesforce instances; liaise between tech teams and business stakeholders.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and identify gaps in existing solutions.
• Develop and maintain custom solutions using Apex Classes, Triggers, Flows and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Define project scope and configure CRM systems to meet business needs.
• Develop and execute test plans, lead user acceptance, performance, security, and usability testing.
• Manage vendor relationships for bug fixes and new features.
• Deliver training, demonstrations, and ongoing support to ensure smooth adoption.

Overview

This position is a skilled Salesforce Developer/Administrator on the Business Enablement team. This role is central to implementing and optimizing Salesforce Education Cloud to support the institution’s business needs and long-term strategic objectives.

Salesforce Education Cloud enables EIM to effectively manage student relationships and university partnerships, helping us expand as a trusted leader in the healthcare education space. In this position, you will collaborate cross-functionally with teams including Enrollment, Marketing, Clinical Education, and Post Professional Services.

You will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of all EIM Salesforce platforms, including Education Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and their integrated systems.

The ideal candidate brings experience in higher education and/or the Online Program Management (OPM) sector.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, analyze, and maintain all of EIM Salesforce instances; serve as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and identify gaps or necessary changes in existing solutions.
• Develop and maintain custom solutions using Apex Classes, Triggers, Flows and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Define project scope, objectives, and feasibility; modify and configure CRM systems to align with business needs and stakeholder requirements.
• Develop and execute test plans and validation of related IT solutions, as well as other quality assurance measures; lead testing such as user acceptance, performance, security, usability, etc.Manage vendor relationships, working on bug fixes, new features, and optimal product usage.
• Deliver training, demonstrations, and regular communications to end-users, and provide ongoing support to ensure smooth system adoption.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including process maps, system architecture, and organizational structures.
• Stay up to date with Salesforce releases and best practices, contributing to change management efforts for seamless solution transitions.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience as both a Salesforce Administrator and Salesforce Developer.
• Must have hands-on experience with Salesforce Omni-Channel and Amazon Connect, including configuring call centers, call flows, queues, and routing.
• Must have hands-on experience in integrating Salesforce with Zoom Phone/Zoom webinar, and Canvas LMS.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with third-party systems using REST APIs, OAuth.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with Microsoft Outlook and Calendly is strongly preferred.
• Must be comfortable working independently, troubleshooting complex issues, managing priorities, and delivering solutions in a fast-paced environment.
• Education: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required.
• Experience in higher Education is a must; OPM experience is preferable.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong programming skills in languages such as Java,
• Problem-Solving Ability: Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.
• Communication Skills: Actively listening to customer needs while recommending best practices that align with both customer interests and EIM objectives.

Minimum Education, Work Experience & Required Certifications

Bachelor's Degree 3+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience accepted Required Certifications: None

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in higher education and/or CRM implementations.
• Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Business Analyst) or willingness to obtain them.
