Job summary

Lifeshape in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a Salesforce Developer to design, build, and optimize Salesforce solutions using Apex, Flows, and integrations. You will translate business needs into scalable platform features and ensure secure, efficient data flows across systems.

As an experienced contributor, you will implement complex automation, maintain code quality, and collaborate with stakeholders including the Digital Transformation Manager.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Salesforce development experience, including Apex, SOQL, and Salesforce platform development.
• Experience developing Apex classes, triggers, batch jobs, and asynchronous processes.
• Strong technical and analytical skills with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize effectively as an individual contributor.
• Ability to build effective working relationships, work independently and collaboratively, and maintain professionalism under pressure.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Automate, JavaScript, HTML, and project management tools.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems including REST APIs.

Scope of Position:

The Salesforce Developer supports Lifeshape’s organizational goals by designing, developing, and optimizing Salesforce solutions through Apex development, workflow automation, and platform integrations. This role serves as a technical individual contributor with architect-level expertise, helping transform Salesforce into a faster, more scalable, and more effective system for the organization.

Reports to: Digital Transformation Manager

Job Responsibilities:

• 1. Execute Salesforce development priorities and platform enhancement initiatives, ensuring all solutions, automations, and integrations align with Lifeshape’s goals and long-term objectives. (15%)
• 2. Gather, analyze, and translate business and system requirements into clear technical specifications and development tasks in collaboration with stakeholders and the Digital Transformation Manager. (15%)
• 3. Develop and maintain Salesforce solutions, including Apex classes, triggers, Flows, automations, and other custom functionality. (35%)
• 4. Design and support integrations between Salesforce and other platforms to ensure secure, reliable, and efficient data flow (e.g. Power Automate). (15%)
• 5. Create and maintain technical documentation, process flows, and related system artifacts for Salesforce and assigned projects. (5%)
• 6. Troubleshoot system issues, optimize existing solutions, and support change implementation by applying Salesforce best practices for security, scalability, and maintainability. (15%)

Requirements:

• 3. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software development, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• 6. Strong technical and analytical skills with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.

Preferred:

• 9. Experience with Microsoft Power Automate, JavaScript, HTML, and project management tools.

• 11. Familiarity with Agile development environments.
